Fucoidan AF Premium is our current fucoidan formula, developed as an improvement over our former Nano Fucoidan product. This page compares the two products in terms of fucoidan content, added seaweed-derived ingredients, third-party testing, taste, and overall value.

We have sold three fucoidan products to date, including formulas containing low molecular weight fucoidan and nano fucoidan.
We continuously develop our products with the goal of improving their formulation, ingredient content, and overall quality.
Each new product has been developed with improvements in formulation, ingredient content, and overall quality compared with earlier products.
Even when comparing only the fucoidan content, Fucoidan AF Premium greatly exceeds the earlier products.
It contains a higher amount of fucoidan and additional seaweed-derived ingredients than our former Nano Fucoidan product.
According to third-party analysis by Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL), the fucose level — a key indicator of fucoidan — increased by 38.1% compared with the previous finished product.
Ascophyllan is rich in minerals and is considered nutritionally important. Compared to kelp, it contains about twice as much calcium, five times as much iron, more than twice the amount of vitamin A, and about fifteen times as much vitamin E, highlighting its diverse nutritional composition. It provides a well-balanced range of nutrients that are often lacking in daily diets.
Research on ascophyllan is ongoing at universities and other research institutions. Studies have examined its biological properties and its potential interactions with other seaweed-derived compounds. Fucoidan AF Premium uses high-quality ascophyllan materials developed through collaboration with researchers in medicine and pharmaceutical sciences.
The structural formula of ascophyllan differs from that of Okinawa mozuku-derived fucoidan. The diagram below is simplified for clarity, although the actual structure involves many additional components. While mozuku-derived fucoidan is primarily composed of fucose, ascophyllan is mainly composed of glucuronic acid. Fucoidan AF Premium Liquid type (900 ml) contains 900 mg of ascophyllan.
Fucoidan AF Premium is analyzed by JFRL, an independent third-party laboratory. The analysis is performed on the finished product after manufacturing, rather than only on raw materials before production.
Testing the finished product helps provide transparent information about its ingredient content and supports product quality and customer confidence.
Because fucoidan supplements are taken daily, taste matters. Fucoidan AF Premium was refined through repeated prototype testing to achieve a smoother and more pleasant flavor than earlier products.
The formula uses a carefully balanced ingredient ratio and erythritol to reduce the seaweed aftertaste. No artificial flavoring is added.
When fucoidan content, additional ingredients, formulation quality, and third-party testing are considered together, Fucoidan AF Premium offers strong overall value.
Some customers feel that the price is higher compared to other companies’ fucoidan products.
If you compare only the retail price, it may appear expensive at first glance.
However, the conclusion changes when you closely compare the ingredient content and formulation details.
Fucoidan AF Premium contains three key seaweed-derived components.
Each ingredient contributes different characteristics to the overall formulation.
In addition, the formula contains high levels of amino acids, including essential amino acids and vitamins.
The total amount of functional ingredients reaches 482,388 mg per 900 ml, a level not commonly found in other products.
Raw material costs are more than five times higher than fucoidan products made from only one type of seaweed, such as mekabu, low-molecular, high-molecular, or kelp fucoidan.
In other words, even when taking the same volume, Fucoidan AF Premium delivers a greater amount of beneficial ingredients.
When you evaluate these factors carefully, you will see that this product offers excellent value for its cost.
Rather than focusing only on price or company size, we recommend checking ingredient amounts, purity, and formulation details when selecting a product.
We place strong importance on both the blending amounts during manufacturing and the verified ingredient levels in the finished product.
To provide customers with reliable information about the ingredients in the finished product, we conduct third-party analysis through Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL).
